Government Secretary for Itself and Telecom Service Imprisoned for Disdain of Court

Muhammad Umar Malik confronted allegations of improper conduct in court while showing up before Legal Justice Adil Sarwar Sial in Rawalpindi as a candidate.

During the consultation, the court noticed his wrongdoing and started a preliminary under Segment 228 of the Corrective Code. Legal Justice Adil Sarwar Sial condemned Malik for inappropriate and disparaging way of behaving, prompting his capture.

The charge sheet acquired by Everyday Ausaf expressed that on June 1, 2024, at roughly 8:30 AM, Malik offended and disturbed official actions by declining to agree with a request to close up his collar. The charge sheet pronounced that Malik had committed an offense culpable under Area 228 PPC, and requested his preliminary. Following this, Government Telecom Secretary Muhammad Umar Malik was captured in the court and moved to Adiala Prison according to the court’s order.
